Relic Stratocaster Sale
Relic (actually a survivor) Stratocaster with tapped vintage type humbucker. Loud and crunchy.
The body is solid wood (medium weight) and has been abused over its life time. Finished in dark brown and black, fully serviced, very little surgery was needed to make it healthy again. Battle scars, dents, crackled paint (in places) - not shiny and new. All I did was buff the paintwork with a mop. I love it!!!!!
We also have Telecaaster Style guitars made from reclaimed wood on offer.
This one
is a mixture of a Stratocaster and a Nashville Telecaster type guitar made from salvaged wood. The pickup configuration has the flexibility
of a Stratocaster, with five switch positions, two tone controls and the Telecaster sound from the bridge pickup.
The timber I use is upcycled, repurposed and recycled. Each guitar is unique and not repeatable.
This one is made from salvaged pieces of wood that were off cuts from the construction of a house roof.
Our brand mission - Rat Bait Guitars
We use parts from the 1970s right up to the 2020s, mixed together to give the experience of 'heritage', not
the fake visual illusion of 'relic'. The aim is to produce guitars that are very playable and sound better than the average
homogenised crap that is out there. They won't be shiny and shimmering - they will look rugged, with a few battle scars but they will
compliment any serious guitar collection.
